This body has a drilled hole instead of a wire rout, so it could be built out with or without a pickguard!

This body is pictured in rough sanded condition. We final sand all of our bodies to 300 grit before shipment. Any rough edges or pencil marks you may see in the picture will be removed when the body is final sanded.

Finish lead times are 8-12 weeks.**(See our ‘Lead Times’ page) TruGrain™ is a new finish technique we are offering. The body is not grain filled, so it allows us to spray the finish thinner. This process removes a few ounces of weight, gives the body more resonance, shows off the beautiful wood grain patterns under the finish and looks super cool!

We HIGHLY recommend getting these hardwood inserts installed at the stress points around the bridge, strap pins, etc to insure that your mounting screws do not strip out of the Paulownia. (If you forgo having us install these inserts, you will need to do it yourself. Paulownia Bodies purchased without the hardwood inserts will be excluded from all warranty repairs and/or returns policies.)

Based on the 1952 style, the t-style guitar body shape features the classic design of the body that started it all.  This classic guitar body would make an excellent replacement for any t-style guitar, vintage or modern.  If you are seeking a build, the t-style is the easiest first build to help you over the learning curve.

This style has been here since the beginning.  From twang to crunch, it is hard to find a modern guitarist that doesn’t own at least one t-style.
