TruGrain™ – We started this new finish technique a few years back and it has been wildly popular. The body is NOT grain filled, allowing us to spray the finish thinner. This process removes a few ounces of weight, gives the body more resonance, shows off the beautiful wood grain patterns under the nitro finish, and looks super cool! Due to the thinner finish, the body will age more quickly than our standard bodies.

**Mineral Spot Disclaimer: The natural process that produces bird’s eye figuring also produces small mineral “pockets” that cause small black spots or streaks. We usually cannot see these until we start milling the wood. Finding completely clean pieces is pretty rare. We will obviously not give you a hideous piece of wood, but necks made out of bird’s eye maple may contain these mineral spots.
