Q: What is the connection between Guitar Mill and Mario Martin  ?

A: Guitar Mill has been a leading supplier of parts for several years now . Our premium bodies, necks ,and nitrocellulose finishes have , and still are ; being used by some of the best known builders out there . Mario Martin started Guitar Mill in 2005, and it has since been the go to source for high end guitar bodies, necks and finishes . The Guitar Mill “Custom Shop”, was formed , as a response to a growing number of requests for “fully built” custom guitars. The Guitar Mill Custom Shop ( now Mario Guitars ) , and Guitar Mill , will continue to operate as two shops , under one roof . Both of them , meeting clients’ specific needs .

Q: Does Guitar Mill accept returns ?

A: If for some reason you are not satisfied with your purchase- items may be returned within a 7 day period for a refund or exchange.  Items must be unaltered and sent back in the original condition. We will thoroughly inspect the item(s) for refund/exchange eligibility.  Refunds will incur a 25% restocking fee. Custom work/items are not eligible for refunds. Custom work is defined as up charges/add ons, services which make your body or neck especially unique and difficult to resell.

Q: What if I want to cancel my order ?

A: Well , since most all products are custom built per your specs. If you need to cancel your custom body or neck order, you will be responsible for its non-refundable custom work and/or a 25% restocking fee.

Q: How long before I receive my order?

A: Usually an unfinished body order takes 2 -3 weeks for completion.  Necks are more labor/detail oriented, so an unfinished neck will take approximately 6-8 weeks.  These estimated completion dates can fluctuate based on current shop workload , backlog of orders , material/wood availability ,etc.. .  If you item(s) are getting a nitrocellulose finish , please add on an additional 6-8 weeks. We will notify you via email and will provide a tracking number upon shipping your order.

Contacting us to check on the status of your order, is not necessary and will probably cause further delays -since we’ll have to cease building/finishing ,and pull your order off of the production line to check its status each time it is inquired about. We are a very small shop, so please keep in mind – that our time is better spent working on orders, rather than stopping to give updates.
